WT Shapes - WT10.5x137.5
WT shapes are structural tees produced by splitting a W shape lengthwise down the centre of its web, yielding a T-shaped cross-section with the flange width and thickness of the parent W shape. They're used as chords in trusses and open-web steel joists, as flanges welded to plate to build up girders and other custom sections, and anywhere a single wide bearing flange on a stem is more structurally efficient than a full I-shaped section — typically where only one face of the member needs to carry a bearing or connection load.
